Nightstop UK is a national organisation which works together with local communities towards the prevention of youth homelessness. Nightstop UK provides information, advice, consultancy, support and training to local Nightstop schemes and to raise awareness of and inform policy on youth homelessness and it's prevention.Nightstop is a simple concept: to provide safe emergency accommodation for homeless young people between 16-25 years for a few nights at a time, in the homes of approved volunteers, until such time as permanent and appropriate housing is secured.

Our Vision-

Nightstop UK believes that all young people have the right to access safe, secure accommodation that is appropriate to their needs. Nightstop UK will:
·advise and support Nightstop schemes in the provision of appropriate, safe accommodation in the homes of volunteer hosts
·challenge the public to accept the reality of youth homelessness
·respond to the challenge of youth homelessnessess
·endeavour to inform and shape public policy on youth homelessness

Programmes and Activities-

-support for new and existing local Nightstop schemes
-proactive development of Nightstop schemes where none exist
-encouragement of and involvement in partnership working e.g.recently established partnership with Scottish agency to promote Nightstop in Scotland
-involvement in key national campaigns
-various fundraising opportunitites
-volunteering opportunities
